The Surgery Scheduler plays a crucial role in organizing and scheduling surgical procedures, specialized interventions, and subsequent appointments, while also handling pre-authorizations and insurance needs. This position ensures that all necessary pre-operative documents, lab results, and equipment preparations are accurately recorded and monitored within the electronic medical records system. Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of scheduling experience in a surgical center or a medical office environment. A high school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory, and familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance protocols is essential.
