Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist plays a critical role in the surgical team, aiding in the preparation and execution of various surgical procedures. This position involves ensuring a sterile and secure environment in the operating room while assisting throughout the entire perioperative process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the surgical environment and necessary instruments.
- Maintain sterility of the operating room and surgical instruments.
- Position patients effectively for surgical procedures.
- Support the surgical team with various tasks during surgeries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a surgical environment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
