Job Summary
Dartmouth Health, located in New London, NH, is in search of a Surgical Technologist I – OR Day Shift Per Diem to become part of their operating room team. The primary function of this role involves ensuring a smooth surgical environment by preparing for surgeries, arranging surgical instruments and required equipment, and upholding stringent sterile practices throughout all surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for surgical procedures, including organizing instruments and equipment.
- Maintain and monitor sterile techniques during surgeries.
- Assist the surgical team during operations.
- Handle and manage surgical specimens as required.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of surgical technology principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure surgical setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
