Job Summary
The main purpose of the Surgical Technologist position in the Main OR at our facility is to provide critical support in surgical settings. This role entails maintaining a sterile environment, preparing instruments, and assisting in various surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the maintenance of a sterile surgical field throughout procedures.
- Prepare and present surgical instruments and supplies required for operations.
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including skin preparation.
- Mix and manage surgical medications as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Experience in an operating room environment is beneficial.
- A commitment to providing quality patient care is essential.
- Ability to effectively work in a high-stress environment.
