Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida. This position involves supporting a variety of surgical procedures in the Main Operating Room, contributing to the quality of care provided to patients in Northeast Florida.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room for procedures.
- Ensure a sterile environment is maintained during surgeries.
- Provide instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient safety and surgical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Previous experience in a surgical environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and operating room protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
