Job Summary
We are looking for meticulous Surgical Technologists to become part of our dedicated Operating Room (OR) team in Glens Falls, New York. In this critical role, you will be pivotal in maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring operational efficiency during surgical procedures, directly contributing to patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist in achieving and maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Support surgical teams by aiding in the positioning of patients prior to surgery.
- Handle and organize surgical instruments and supplies, including management of sharps.
- Participate actively in the surgical processes, safeguarding patient safety throughout.
Qualifications
- Possess a thorough understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the surgical environment are up to standard.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals.
- Experience in a surgical setting is preferred, showcasing familiarity with operating room dynamics.
