Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Accurately and promptly handle surgical instruments and supplies.
- Assist the surgical team by anticipating needs for each procedure.
- Utilize patient information to determine an effective plan of care.
- Contribute to patient safety by adhering to protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, clinical environment.
