Job Summary
We are thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Surgical Technologist OR based in Brooklyn, New York. This role offers a dynamic environment where the individual will collaborate closely with surgical teams to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and ensure it is sterile and equipped with necessary instruments.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning and draping.
- Assist surgeons by anticipating needs and providing appropriate instruments and supplies during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records related to surgical instruments and other supplies.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Completion of a surgical technologist training program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
- Experience in an operating room setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and their uses.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
