Job Summary
The role of a Surgical Technologist requires an individual committed to integrity, patient focus, and respect. Located in New Haven, Connecticut, this position involves working alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals to deliver exceptional surgical care to patients. The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in maintaining aseptic conditions and implementing sterile techniques throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
- Facilitate the surgical team by providing necessary instruments and support during operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Completion of a surgical technologist program or a recognized formal training program.
- Experience as a surgical technician is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
