Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a pivotal role in the operating room, delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients. This position involves working closely with surgeons and medical professionals to ensure a seamless surgical procedure, contributing to the overall health services provided.
Responsibilities
- Help in maintaining a sterile environment during surgical operations.
- Assist surgeons and registered nurses by preparing and organizing surgical instruments and supplies.
- Label and manage laboratory specimens for processing effectively.
- Provide support to the medical team throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to apply sterile and aseptic techniques in the operating room.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Background in health services or a related field is preferred.
