Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a crucial role in the surgical team by preparing operating rooms for procedures, sterilizing instruments, and aiding the surgical staff during operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment is available.
- Sterilize surgical instruments and maintain cleanliness to comply with safety standards.
- Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during surgical procedures.
- Ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.
- Handle surgical tools and supplies efficiently during operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in a surgical environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team.
- Strong attention to detail and patient care practices.
