Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a crucial role in the operating room, contributing to the seamless flow of surgical procedures. This position is based in Tucson, Arizona, and requires an onsite presence. The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing the operating room, sterilizing surgical instruments, and providing support during surgeries, all while prioritizing patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Sterilize instruments and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Assist the surgical team throughout operations to support patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment to safeguard against infections.
- Ensure patient safety is upheld at all times during procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in surgical technology is preferred.
- Experience in a surgical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments and sterilization protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment within a team setting.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on patient care and safety.
