Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist I plays a vital role in providing both direct and indirect patient care during surgical procedures. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room by assisting with various tasks and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and organization of sterile setups for surgical activities.
- Communicate any changes in the operating room schedule effectively.
- Participate in the data collection process as required.
- Support the central service technician as needed or as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant training in surgical technology preferable.
- Basic knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile techniques.
- Strong communication skills to report changes and collaborate with team members.
