Job Summary
Hospital Needham, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our perioperative team. This onsite position in Needham Heights, Massachusetts, involves a 10-hour shift schedule. The chosen candidate will play a critical role in creating a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by providing necessary tools and instruments.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical process.
- Ensure proper handling of specimens and medications in compliance with protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification or relevant training as a Surgical Technologist.
- Proficiency in sterilization techniques and operating room protocols.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
