Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled PCU/Tele registered nurses to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit and telemetry settings. Candidates will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU and telemetry units.
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and telemetry data.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare providers.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a PCU or telemetry nursing environment is preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
