Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Telemetry units. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in nursing practices and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Interviews are required for all candidates to assess their qualifications and fit within our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU and telemetry settings.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and clinical symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and adjust care plans based on changing conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a PCU or telemetry setting is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
