Job description
**Job Title: Surveillance Epidemiologist**
The Surveillance Epidemiologist is responsible for examining patterns of diseases, their prevalence, and the resulting health outcomes to detect outbreaks and potential health threats. This role involves creating and executing disease prevention initiatives, overseeing surveillance data systems, and sharing results with both public health authorities and the community at large. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a pertinent scientific or social science discipline and a minimum of two years of experience in epidemiological research. Familiarity with statistical programs like SAS, R, or Stata is highly desirable.
