Job Summary
The technician plays a crucial role in executing mechanical repairs, welding, fabrication, and tank washing for tank trailers. This position demands meticulous inspection, diagnosis, and maintenance of equipment, ensuring compliance with both company and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical repairs and fabrication on tank trailers.
- Perform welding tasks, including TIG and MIG welding across different metal types.
- Execute tank washing operations to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Inspect and diagnose equipment, ensuring it meets operational requirements.
- Maintain equipment in alignment with company protocols and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated experience in TIG/MIG welding with various metals.
- Ability to lift weights exceeding 70 lbs.
- Capable of working in confined spaces.
- Strong adherence to safety and manufacturing protocols.
