Test Engineer Overview:
We are on the lookout for a Manufacturing Software Test Engineer to create and maintain manufacturing test systems for electronic products. This position collaborates across software, hardware, and systems engineering, focusing on updates to current products and working alongside global teams.

Test Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Design and evaluate manufacturing test systems that prioritize safety and security.
• Engage with both commercial and bespoke hardware/software platforms.
• Develop manufacturing test applications using C#, C++, and Python.
• Participate actively in the complete development lifecycle.
• Assist an Agile/SAFe team and work cooperatively with global partners.
• Deliver Tier 2 support for production test equipment.

Test Engineer Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development for hardware-integrated systems.
• Capability to interpret electronic schematics.
• Excellent communication skills.

Test Engineer Preferred Skills:

• Experience with object-oriented programming languages (C#, C++, Python).
• Familiarity with hardware-software integration protocols (I2C, SPI, CIP).
• Knowledge of Windows development, unit testing, CI/CD practices, and Git/GitHub.
• Understanding of electronic hardware and mechanical design principles.
• Experience with TestStand and hardware-software system testing.
• Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) and experience working with distributed teams.

Travel: Up to 10%.
