Job description
Job Summary
The Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of products through comprehensive testing methodologies. This role involves developing test cases, automating testing processes, and executing tests to identify any defects or areas for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Automate testing procedures to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Execute tests and document results, reporting any discrepancies to the development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback regarding quality assurance practices.
- Maintain and update testing documentation and processes for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of testing tools and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with programming languages relevant to testing automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
