Job description
Job Summary
The role of the Test Engineer involves designing and implementing testing processes to ensure the quality and performance of software products. This position plays a critical role in identifying bugs and issues early in the development cycle while collaborating closely with development teams to enhance product reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases based on software specifications and requirements.
- Perform thorough regression testing and system validation to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address testing-related issues and improve overall product quality.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
- Provide feedback on product usability and functionality, suggesting areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing methodologies and testing tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
