Job Summary
We are seeking a Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This position offers a competitive pay range of $1,636 to $1,889 per week and is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with the necessary certification and experience in the surgical field. The role is onsite at a short-term acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgeries.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are ready and functional.
- Support pre-operative and post-operative procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Previous experience in a surgical setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to adapt to varying schedules and assignments during the 13-week duration.
