Job Summary
The position of Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) offers a competitive weekly pay of $1,959 and is based in Lakeview, Oregon. This role requires working onsite and involves performing essential laboratory functions that support the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and analyses to provide accurate data for clinical decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely and reliable laboratory results.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, performing calibrations and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Document and report findings effectively, following established protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- A valid certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT).
- Proven experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in test operations and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with medical staff and patients.
