Job Summary
The Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) position offers an opportunity to work onsite in Prineville, OR, with a competitive weekly pay of $1,979. This role is designed for those looking to engage in laboratory diagnostics while on a temporary contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide relevant information.
- Participate in quality control and assurance programs.
- Document and report laboratory findings in an appropriate manner.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Laboratory Technician certification or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with medical staff.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and technology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and rotating shifts.
