Travel Radiation Therapist
Pay Rate: $2680/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Location:  Mansfield, OH
Schedule: Day 5×8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM The ARRT Registered Radiation Oncology Therapist is needed for a 13-week contract assignment in Mansfield, Ohio. This role will administer radiation therapy treatments, support treatment planning and simulation, maintain accurate treatment records, and coordinate closely with Radiation Oncology providers, patients, families, and hospital personnel. This assignment is Monday through Friday with no call and no weekend requirement.
Radiation Therapist Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders, departmental protocols, and patient-specific treatment plans.
• Maintain daily treatment records, including daily dosages, calculations, and other required treatment documentation.
• Perform simulations, acquire treatment parameters, obtain patient contours, and complete dose calculations as needed.
• Maintain and coordinate inpatient and outpatient treatment schedules while communicating with families and hospital personnel.
• Monitor patient condition and progress daily, including weight, skin care needs, reactions, and other treatment-related changes.
• Assist the Radiation Oncologist with brachytherapy procedures and other radiation oncology support needs.

Radiation Therapist Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience.
• Associate’s Degree from an approved Radiation Therapy Technology training program.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required.
• Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
