Job description
The Veterinary Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing hospital operations by ensuring safe handling of patients, preparing treatment spaces, and aiding in outpatient procedures. Responsibilities also include keeping precise medical records and effectively conveying treatment plans and discharge information to pet owners. Applicants should have a minimum of one year’s experience in a veterinary or animal care position and demonstrate skill in animal restraint alongside a foundational understanding of veterinary terminology. A keen eye for detail, capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting, and strong professional communication abilities are essential.
