Job description
The Veterinary Assistant will play a vital role in aiding the clinical team by helping with surgical and dental operations, overseeing anesthesia, and ensuring precise medical records are kept. Responsibilities also include preparing treatment spaces and delivering compassionate care to animals during examinations and outpatient visits. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a veterinary or animal care environment and demonstrate excellent animal handling and restraint abilities. A good understanding of veterinary terminology, effective medical record management, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere are essential.
