Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for various tasks in the warehouse environment, focusing on maintaining inventory efficiency, processing orders, and ensuring accurate shipments. This role is key in supporting the supply chain operations to meet the company’s demand effectively.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to prescribed standards.
- Maintain organized inventory storage and assist in stock rotation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean and adhere to safety protocols.
- Assist in inventory counts and reporting discrepancies to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
