Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in the management and operations of the warehouse by ensuring that inventory is handled efficiently and correctly. This position is essential to maintaining the flow of goods in and out of the facility, contributing to the overall productivity and success of the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against order documentation.
- Sort, organize, and store products in their designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Assist in inventory counts and report discrepancies as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in warehouse operations or related field is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
