Job Summary
The role of the Warehouse/Cooler Lead is critical in overseeing daily operations within the warehouse and cooler environments. This position involves managing team performance, ensuring efficient stock management, and maintaining safety standards in a temperature-controlled setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure the proper handling and organization of products in cooler areas to maintain quality and safety.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and dispatching goods.
- Implement and promote safety protocols within the warehouse to minimize risks.
- Engage in regular training sessions to improve team skills and compliance with operational standards.
- Collaborate with management to identify areas for operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse or cooler management role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
