Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse tasks, including inventory management, product organization, and order fulfillment. This position is essential for maintaining efficient workflows and supporting overall supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking stock and inventory data.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in cycle counts to ensure integrity of stock records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications related to warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and basic computer applications.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
