Job Summary
The Waste Handler is responsible for managing and disposing of various waste materials safely and efficiently. This role involves ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely collect, transport, and dispose of waste materials according to established protocols.
- Monitor waste processing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in waste handling areas.
- Assist in the implementation of waste reduction strategies.
- Report any issues with equipment or processes to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in waste management or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and proper waste handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
