Job Summary
The Web Second Press Operator plays a crucial role in the printing process by overseeing the operation of web offset printing presses during the afternoon shift. This position demands attention to detail, ensuring high-quality print production while meeting pressing deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate web offset presses to produce printed materials.
- Monitor the print quality and make adjustments as necessary to maintain standards.
- Ensure that print runs are completed on time and within budget.
- Perform routine maintenance on the presses to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a press operator in a commercial printing environment.
- Strong knowledge of web offset printing processes and equipment.
