Job description

Job Summary

The Web Second Press Operator plays a crucial role in the printing process by overseeing the operation of web offset printing presses during the afternoon shift. This position demands attention to detail, ensuring high-quality print production while meeting pressing deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate web offset presses to produce printed materials.
  • Monitor the print quality and make adjustments as necessary to maintain standards.
  • Ensure that print runs are completed on time and within budget.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the presses to keep them in optimal working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a press operator in a commercial printing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of web offset printing processes and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills to work collaboratively with the production team.
