Job Summary
This role involves conducting standard X-ray examinations and facilitating related radiological workflows. The position demands adherence to safety protocols and efficient documentation of patient visits, coupled with the maintenance of radiological equipment. Additionally, the individual will provide crucial medical support, contribute to patient flow, and oversee various front-office tasks, all while ensuring adherence to quality care standards as well as safety and privacy regulations.
Responsibilities
- Execute routine X-ray examinations and manage associated radiology tasks.
- Maintain radiology equipment to guarantee optimal functionality.
- Follow established radiation safety procedures rigorously.
- Document and maintain accurate records of patient visits.
- Assist clinicians in medical procedures and patient testing.
- Manage patient flow effectively to enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform front-office duties to support practice logistics.
- Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and quality care standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Possession of state-sanctioned limited-scope technician certificate and license as required.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is essential.
- A minimum of six months’ experience as a medical assistant.
- At least six months of experience working with X-ray technology.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is required.
- Capable of obtaining necessary medical support certifications as needed.
