Job Summary
The X-ray Technologist is responsible for conducting standard radiologic examinations and providing medical assistance under the guidance of a healthcare professional. This position involves the upkeep of radiologic equipment, overseeing patient workflows, and ensuring proper documentation in electronic medical records.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine radiologic exams and provide medical support as directed by a clinician.
- Maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Manage patient flow to facilitate timely examinations and services.
- Ensure accurate and efficient documentation within the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate.
- Preferred experience of at least six months in X-ray and medical assistant positions.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is necessary.
