**Yard Hostler**
The Yard Hostler plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of trailers and containers around the yard, facilitating loading and unloading processes. Responsibilities include driving a spotter truck, conducting equipment inspections, and diligently documenting trailer movements within the yard management system. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED and have a minimum of one year of experience with yard hostler operations or similar heavy machinery. A valid California driver’s license is mandatory, along with the physical capability to handle strenuous tasks in varying outdoor weather conditions.
