Job Summary
The Youth Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering direct assistance and care to individuals facing developmental disabilities. The primary focus is to promote independence among those served while ensuring their well-being and safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise individuals to ensure their safety and health.
- Assist with personal care tasks to meet the daily needs of individuals.
- Carry out household duties, including meal preparation and cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical capability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds and perform various physical activities.
