Job Summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the architecture of power systems, specifically focusing on battery and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions. This role involves not only the technical aspects of design but also ensuring supplier qualification and overall design quality. The engineer will play a crucial role in mentoring team members, establishing test strategies, and successfully guiding products through safety and EMC certification processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of power system architecture with a focus on battery and UPS solutions.
- Drive supplier qualification processes to ensure high-quality design outcomes.
- Mentor and support team members in technical and professional development.
- Define and implement effective test strategies for product evaluation.
- Guide the certification process for safety and EMC compliance of products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- More than 8 years of experience in hardware development, from initial concept to full production.
- Expertise in mixed-signal circuit design.
- Proficient in using ECAD tools.
- Experience with navigating safety and EMC certification processes.
