Job Summary
The DevOps Engineer, AVP – Data, Cloud, and Developer Experience at Blackstone is focused on enhancing the efficiency and functionality of application teams through robust DevOps practices. This role plays a pivotal part in streamlining operations and fostering effective collaboration between development and operations teams, particularly in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate seamless integration and deployment processes for application teams.
- Support operations for cloud-based production environments, specifically AWS and/or Azure.
- Engage in troubleshooting of distributed systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Provide production support and respond to any operational issues that may arise.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and systems.
- Promote effective communication across teams to enhance overall workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in AWS or Azure production settings.
- Strong background in troubleshooting distributed systems and production support.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to document processes effectively for operational continuity.
