Job Summary
The Behavioral Technician – PT Swing role focuses on providing support and assistance to individuals with behavioral challenges. This position is essential in implementing treatment plans and facilitating positive behavioral change in a structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized care and support to clients under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Assist in implementing treatment programs and behavior management strategies.
- Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate records of behavior and activities.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote skill development and social interactions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize support for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in behavioral health preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral or developmental challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and their application.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
