Job Summary
The Perioperative Services Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of the Operating Room (OR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Same Day Procedures Unit (SPU) by ensuring a hygienic and secure environment for patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients and medical equipment efficiently.
- Perform cleaning tasks between surgical cases to maintain a sterile environment.
- Assist with direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- A minimum of one year of experience working as an OR attendant or in a similar capacity is required.
