Job Summary
Avera is on the lookout for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Aberdeen, South Dakota. This role is focused on providing comprehensive long-term care by assessing residents’ conditions, administering medications, and fostering self-care skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and monitor the health status and needs of residents.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatment plans as per physician orders.
- Encourage and guide residents in self-care practices.
- Oversee the daily workflow and coordination of nursing assistants and other nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Valid RN or LPN license for the state of South Dakota.
- Strong understanding of patient care, medication administration, and treatment protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
