Job Summary
The Structural Engineering Intern will provide support to the engineering team by assisting with the design and analysis of structural projects. This role encompasses a range of tasks that contribute to the successful execution of engineering solutions, allowing interns to gain practical industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of structural design calculations and analyses.
- Support the development of construction documents and design drawings.
- Participate in field inspections and assist in the evaluation of existing structures.
- Work collaboratively with engineers to solve technical challenges and enhance project outcomes.
- Research materials and methods relevant to ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD and structural analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
