Job Summary
The Machine Operator for the 3rd Shift in Manhattan, Kansas is responsible for managing the operation of wire stripping equipment while ensuring the quality of both good and non-conforming products. This position requires an attentiveness to the machinery and the necessary documentation to minimize product waste and operational inefficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Effectively operate wire stripping machinery.
- Monitor machine sounds to detect any abnormalities.
- Ensure the quality of products meets specified standards.
- Accurately complete required documentation and reports.
- Identify and reduce waste of products and components during the operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating industrial machinery, preferably wire strippers.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality.
- Ability to understand the operational sounds of machines for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with HVAC and refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Ability to work onsite during the assigned shift hours.
