Job Summary
The Emergency Room Technician plays a vital role in supporting the licensed nursing staff with patient care duties within the Emergency Care Center. Under the guidance of medical personnel, they also carry out EKG monitoring to assist in patient evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Support licensed nursing staff in delivering patient care in the emergency setting.
- Perform EKG monitoring under medical staff supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Relevant certification such as CNA, EMT, or Paramedic is essential.
- Preferred minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or pre-hospital environment.
- Current BLS certification is a must.
