Responsibilities
- Offer compassionate hospice care to pets, focusing on comfort and quality of life.
- Consult with pet owners regarding end-of-life decisions and support them through the process.
- Manage and administer palliative care and pain management therapies tailored to individual pet needs.
- Educate pet owners on the hospice process and assist them in making informed decisions.
- Coordinate with local veterinary clinics and community resources to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required.
- Must have a valid veterinary license to practice in North Carolina.
- Experience in veterinary hospice or palliative care is preferred.
