Job Summary
The Director of Risk & Controls is responsible for establishing and leading a comprehensive risk and controls function within the organization. This role acts as the main contact for all matters related to risk mitigation and governance, ensuring the company’s adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the enterprise risk and controls function from the ground up.
- Serve as the principal point of contact for risk-related inquiries and governance issues.
- Drive the Risk & Compliance Committee activities.
- Manage project roadmaps to align risk and compliance initiatives with organizational goals.
- Utilize AI tools for effective monitoring and testing of business compliance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in risk, compliance, or control management specifically in the financial services sector.
- Demonstrated strong project management capabilities.
- Ability to develop processes from the inception stage.
- Experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance productivity.
