Job Summary
The CNC Laser Operator is tasked with the setup, operation, and supervision of fiber laser machinery to achieve high-quality cuts in sheet metal components. The role includes inspecting the final products and conducting routine maintenance on the equipment to meet production standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate fiber laser cutting machines.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished metal parts for quality and precision.
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment to keep it in good working order.
- Make sure production targets are met according to specifications provided by customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Basic understanding of CNC systems and machine controls is necessary.
- Ability to interpret production drawings effectively.
- Experience using measuring tools for quality assurance.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
