Job Summary
The Principal Systems Engineer for the Enterprise API Platform and GraphQL Engineering is tasked with enhancing the API ecosystem. This role involves leading engineering activities across the Apigee platform, fostering a collaborative IT environment while supporting our customers and business partners in their pursuit of efficient solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering initiatives for the API ecosystem utilizing Apigee technology.
- Collaborate with customers and business partners to deliver superior service and solutions.
- Manage aspects of the IT environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Oversee the verification processes related to eligibility systems operated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
- Work onsite in the specified geographical locations, including Chicago, IL; Gresham, OR; Cincinnati, OH; and Denver.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or a similar field.
- Expertise in API technology and architecture, especially within the Apigee platform.
- Proven track record of successful project leadership and technical problem-solving.
- Strong knowledge of IT operational standards and protocols.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
