Job Summary
The Machine Operator Leader is responsible for overseeing the production processes at our facility in Highgate Springs, Vermont. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery used in the manufacturing of essential products. The operator will collaborate with team members and customers to effectively source, produce, and deliver high-quality items critical for daily living.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide machine operators in their daily tasks.
- Ensure machinery operates smoothly and address any technical issues that arise.
- Utilize maintenance tools effectively, including power tools and standard maintenance equipment.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals.
- Operate forklifts and other essential equipment as required for production.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a machine operation environment.
- Strong understanding of machinery maintenance and operations.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Licensure or certification for operating forklifts preferred.
