Job Summary
LifeBridge Health, located in Baltimore, is in search of a dedicated Surgical Technologist to deliver essential technical support in the operating room. This role involves working closely with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure smooth surgical procedures. Additionally, when not engaged in surgical assistance, the Surgical Technologist will have the opportunity to participate in patient care activities under the supervision of a Clinical Leader, Charge Nurse, or Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance during surgical procedures.
- Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
- Support surgical teams by maintaining sterile environments and handling instruments efficiently.
- Engage in patient care activities under the direction of nursing staff when not in surgical operations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical care delivery.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Experience in a surgical environment is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
