Job Summary
The Registered Nurse position in the Baptist Emergency Department is a night shift role dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. This role is crucial for addressing a variety of medical emergencies and ensuring optimal patient outcomes through effective assessment and intervention.
Responsibilities
- Administer patient care with compassion and efficiency.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and document any changes in condition.
- Assist in triaging patients based on the severity of their condition.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Previous experience in an emergency department or critical care environment is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
